Glad to see you back, Alex. I understand your situation; I myself am guilty of dwelling on too many things when on the computer instead of just writing my blog post and getting my recovery sleep! :D I too am a somewhat of perfectionist when writing so it takes me a bit of time to compose my blog entries.

I ditto Eric's thoughts; you might want to shorten your daily weekday posts and then do a more polished, in depth report on the weekends when I assume you have a bit more time. Or at the worst, not blog everyday, but still on a regular schedule, just so we know that you are keeping on track, and that we can be there to encourage you and share in your journey.

And yes, I agree with you that junk food is not really good for a reward meal. I'm not really satisfied just eating chips or cake but rather make them a (small) part of a meal in which there are not too many restrictions placed compared to my normal meals.

I could suggest smaller posts. Your posts are great and i can tell you are they type of person who doesn't like to do things "half-assed", but just a short 3 line post a night and a pic will keep you accountable and open up a lot more time. You could then do a more in depth report on the weekends if you chose. I know you have been at this longer then me, but the daily accountability is important, not just to you but to the people who stumble across your site and are inspired by your transformation. I have seen you give great advice to "passers by". I would bet you have positively affected more people then you know.

We will be behind you no matter what you decide to do.

Shred on bud!

Hey Alex, good that you are back to "work"

I have the same time-management-issues as you have and as my mission will start tomorrow I will start blogging from tomorrow on.

First things first and ´real life is such a thing.

:-)
